Hong Kong Day 3

Yeah! 3rd day in Hong Kong!

So far, it has been nothing but awesome awesome awesome!

Finally, I am going Yum Cha – HONG KONG Style.  Arrange to meet Daisy and Erica at Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀, “TST”) MTR to go to 稻香 (九龙尖沙咀加拿芬道20号加拿芬广场3楼).  There are several branches under this restaurant chain.

Total damage: HKD181.

After yum cha, Erica got to go off to school.  So, Daisy and I took a train to Central MTR to go to the Peak.  On the way, we passed by the Central Business District, before reaching the bottom of the Peak to get the vertically challenged tram ride.

Unfortunately, because of the foggy weather,  I was not able to see anything!  So sad…

Took a bus down from The Peak to Victoria Harbour and took a ferry from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon.  Spend the entire afternoon walking down Nathan Road (The major shopping street in Kowloon).  Did a bit of shopping and had curry fish balls, fish dumplings, egg tart, tea egg.. Yum!

At Jordan MTR, my feet refuses to obey, and I had to give in to my stomach!  Daisy and I saw a huge signboard and decided that HOTPOT will be dinner!

We had dinner with Connie, Daisy, Erica and also Carmen.  All teachers!  We had an excellent time of catching up.

We then took a cab to TST to see the famous night view of Victoria Harbour, but alas, the buildings were all cut into half!  It was foggy all over!  We ended up walking down Star Avenue before chilling at Pacific Coffee for a cuppa! So cozy…

- End of day 3 -

Another fabulous day!
